Service Changes in Durham
From 29th November 2020
There will be changes to services 6, 43, 48, 49/49A and X46 in County Durham from Sunday 29th November 2020 due to the continued impact of COVID-19 on passenger numbers and our operations. The changes are below:
Service 6
Buses will run up to every 15 minutes instead of every 12 minutes on Monday to Saturday daytimes between Durham, Bishop Auckland, West Auckland and Cockfield. Journeys that extend to Framwellgate Moor and Barnard Castle will also run a few minutes earlier or later. There will be no alterations to evening or Sunday timetables.

Service 43
Buses will run up to every 20 minutes instead of every 15 minutes on Monday to Saturday daytimes between Durham, Ushaw Moor and Esh Winning. They will also use Stand E instead of Stand D in Durham Bus Station. Evening, Sunday and some early morning buses will run a few minutes later.

Service 48
Evening, Sunday and some early morning buses will run a few minutes earlier or later. There will be no other changes to the timetable.

Services 49 and 49A
Buses will run up to every 15 minutes instead of every 10 minutes on Monday to Saturday daytimes between Durham and Brandon. There will be no alterations to evening or Sunday timetables.

Service X24
Buses travelling to Horden will use Stand D instead of Stand E in Durham Bus Station. There will be no changes to the timetable.
Service X46
Evening, Sunday and some early morning buses will run a few minutes earlier or later. There will be no other changes to the timetable.

All other services in County Durham will be unchanged and will continue to run to their normal schedules.
