Road Closures in Barras Bridge, Newcastle

From 18th April 2021

From Sunday 18th April for around 3 weeks, there will be a range of temporary evening and overnight road closures, associated with the Barras Bridge public realm works.

This final phasing of works involves various closures across this area during the evening. These works are to facilitate road resurfacing and road remarking works, which will complete this area. The works will take place from 19:00 on the affected evenings, and overnight, until 06:00 the following morning.

Roads will remain open outside of the closure periods, and so buses will be able to follow their normal routes outside the various late evening/overnight periods, which are detailed below.
